Winni Marketing founder, Sandy Cleary, is a rocket-scientist-turned-entrepreneur that turned her passion for cruising into a $135+ million dollar business that she built from the ground up and later sold to a $24 billion-dollar travel powerhouse.


Sandy has always had a passion for marketing, and she believes that forging strong partnerships is critical to the success of any business. Sandy, along with her team at Winni Marketing, pioneered a first-of-its-kind partnership between a travel agency and TV retailer, HSN, to showcase cruising to HSN’s audience of 90 million consumers.


When she’s not helping entrepreneurs bring their products to market (through Winni Marketing's parent company, SLC Group Holdings), you can find Sandy snuggling with her Maltese puppies or at various speaking engagements across the U.S. sharing her inspirational story

Darlene Carenza

Director of Marketing and Strategy

As the Director of Marketing and Strategy, Darlene manages the Winni Marketing team and directs the overall business strategy and day-to-day operations.  She brings more than 15 years of experience in Marketing and Partnerships at brands such as Sony Pictures, Cotton Incorporated and CBS Sports. At Travelzoo, Darlene oversaw the cruise category in North America and worked closely on strategic marketing campaigns with both cruise lines and cruise agencies.


When Darlene is not meeting new partners, strategizing with her team, or writing and editing copy (a passion of hers), she can be found advocating for kids with food allergies or at Disney World with her husband and daughter Parker.

Alejandra Lopez

Head of Strategic Partnerships

A true believer that a smile can move mountains and bring people together, Alejandra Lopez (or “Aleja” as her teammates call her) leads Winni Marketing partnership marketing initiatives. From travel, to technology and luxury, Alejandra has more than 17 years of integrated marketing experience with global brands such as Microsoft, Silversea Cruises, LATAM Airlines and Onboard.com (a LVMH Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton SE company).

When Aleja is not spearheading our strategic partnerships, you can find her day dreaming about new destinations to discover, visiting her family, watching sports, listening to NPR or sharing inspirational podcasts. She also loves to cheer on the Trojans of her alma mater, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Canes of the University of Miami, where she earned an MBA in Management.

Susette Andaya-Gomez

Head of Digital Strategy

As a seasoned digital marketer, Susette is Head of Digital Strategy at Winni Marketing. She brings more than 17 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, media buying, SEO, partnerships and Internet technology.


Determined to find a career path that combined her love for travel and her passion for digital marketing, Susette went on to lead marketing initiatives for Air Jamaica Vacations, Wyndham Resorts, World Travel Holdings, CruCon Cruise Outlet and MSC Cruises.


As a past President of the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association (SFIMA), Susette is dedicated to staying on top of trends in the ever-changing world of digital marketing. When she is not helping Winni’s clients master their own e-commerce platforms or developing media plans, she can be found scuba diving, biking or traveling with her son Sebastian and her husband Rick.
